Wayposts, travel and inn respawns
Link a Waypost, choose an allowed destination and stand still through the warmup. Holding a Homing Charter does not grant access everywhere.

Link a destination
A mayor links a Waypost on a civic town plot as town spawn. A valid civic/outpost Waypost can link a remote outpost. A reusable Homing Charter opens the same travel interface from anywhere it is valid; holding it does not waive destination permissions.
Available destinations can include your town, permitted nation/allied towns and public towns. Crafting is listed in the recipe index.
Review and complete a trip
Choose a destination and read the exact rounded quote. The server fee uses indexed base 10 + 1 per 100 blocks; a cross-dimension trip substitutes 2,000 blocks. A destination may add a visitor fee up to configured base 100. Residents do not pay their own town’s arrival fee. A festival can waive travel cost to its town.
Default travel needs 10 seconds standing still, with a 5-minute cooldown and 30-second combat restriction. Moving more than a block or taking damage cancels warmup. The server loads the destination during the wait and rechecks payment/availability before teleporting.
If travel fails, check combat time, movement, cooldown, destination permission, current balance and whether the linked endpoint remains valid. An old displayed destination does not override a fresh server check.
Respawn and inns
When enabled, residents without a usable bed can respawn at their town Waypost. Outsiders cannot freely adopt town beds as permanent respawn points. Paying an inn stay permits visitor respawn for 24 hours by default; the actual inn fee is set by the town within its configured limit.
Permission is reevaluated when respawning. An expired stay or departed membership can change the destination. Town membership, an inn stay and ordinary travel permission are separate rights.
