World upgrades and planning revisions
Updating the mod does not rebuild the world around your survivor. Check the saved generation revision before expecting newer buildings or room details.

A mod update preserves the world plan
Afterfall stores a planning revision with a world. Replacing its JAR does not replace planned towns, regenerate existing buildings or guarantee the current dressing in newly visited chunks. A fresh world is the clearest way to see the current generation. Keep a separate backup/copy when investigating upgrade behavior.
Revision reference
| Planning revision | Features associated with it |
|---|---|
| 6 | Church lots, brownstone-gap dressing and road causeways |
| 7 | Broader starter homes, multi-cell shelves and tall storage |
| 8 | Pond checks inside town/city streets and lots |
| 9 | Generated building panels and nuclear-plant reactor blocks |
| 10 | Dealerships and radio towers |
| 11 | Room furniture, whiteboards/notes, radios, record players, bicycles, planters and related dressing |
Revision 11 preserves revision-10 lot plans and adds a dressing pass. It is not a promise to rebuild an already generated room.
When expected content is missing
Check the installed release and captured planning revision separately. The Command Book and world tools can help an operator inspect the installed world; state-changing placement/reset commands are not normal upgrade steps.
Older worlds retain earlier mains behavior until shutdown. In revision-9+ worlds, appliances generally need wiring or a powered building panel. Players can build a radio tower in an older world even when generated revision-10 sites are unavailable.
Terrain, support, room eligibility and access checks also limit placement. Revision-11 percentages describe eligible candidates, not a guarantee per room. No migration playtest or new world-generation run was performed for this wiki.
