WaterMedia configuration defaults

For server owners and developers: check the 33 reported settings and their defaults, including values whose units remain unknown.

Read this as a field reference

These 33 records are logical Java field paths and constructor defaults attributed to the report’s inspection of WaterMedia 3.0.0.23. They are not verified TOML syntax. The generated filename, serialization shape, validation ranges and restart/reload behavior were not established. Pack overrides are unknown.

WaterMediaConfig registers through WaterConfig using registerBlocking. Check the generated configuration and its comments before applying a change in an appropriate maintenance workflow. No configuration was changed to prepare this wiki.

Raw cache, probe, timeout, upload and image values stay raw. Do not convert them to MiB or milliseconds by assumption. Search-cache cleanup is the exception explicitly traced in minutes. Hardware acceleration defaults to a request, not evidence that a GPU path works.

Media and decoding

Logical Java fieldReported defaultMeaning / limit
logSystemInformationfalseControls system-information logging.
media.defaultQualityHIGHERQuality preference; no fixed pixel resolution.
media.cleanupInterval60.0Cleanup interval; raw constructor value.
media.cacheMaxSize8192Media-cache bound; units unresolved.
media.ffmpeg.disablefalseDisables FFmpeg when enabled.
media.ffmpeg.customPathempty PathCustom native-library path; generated configuration must be checked.
media.ffmpeg.hardwareAcceltrueRequests hardware acceleration; actual availability unverified.
media.ffmpeg.slavePacketReads3Packet-read scheduling parameter.
media.ffmpeg.cachetrueFFmpeg cache path enabled.
media.ffmpeg.cacheMaxSize10FFmpeg cache bound; raw constructor value.
media.ffmpeg.analyzeDuration7000Probe-analysis parameter; units unresolved.
media.ffmpeg.probeSize10Probe-size parameter; units unresolved.
media.tx.cachetrueTexture-player cache enabled.
media.tx.codecCachefalseCodec-cache option disabled.
media.tx.texturesBudget32Texture budget; no measured memory budget.

Sources and networking

Logical Java fieldReported defaultMeaning / limit
network.enableServerfalseEnables media file server on a non-client environment.
network.forceEnableServerfalseCan enable media file server regardless of side.
network.maxUploadSize8Upload bound; units unresolved.
network.serverPort25572Optional media file server port; separate from game server.
network.remoteHosthttp://localhost:25572/Default upload host; not a game server address.
network.tokenbuilt-in placeholderPublic placeholder; no credential value reproduced or recommended.
network.timeout15000Network timeout; units unresolved.
network.maxRedirects10Maximum configured redirect count.
network.maxTextSize16777216Text-size bound; units unresolved.
platforms.allowMatureContentfalseMature-content gate disabled.
platforms.searchCacheCleanup15.0Search-cache cleanup; minutes traced at use site.
platforms.biliBiliCookieempty stringOptional BiliBili cookie; no user value inspected.
decoders.maxImageSourceSize128Image-source bound; units unresolved.
decoders.png.failOnCorruptedDatatrueStrict PNG corruption behavior enabled.
decoders.png.useBKGDChunkfalsePNG background-chunk option disabled.
decoders.svg.maxSize512SVG size parameter; units unresolved.
decoders.vp8.brokenTokensfalseVP8 compatibility option disabled.
decoders.gif.clampImageDescfalseGIF descriptor-clamping option disabled.

The network.token record intentionally describes the public built-in placeholder without reproducing its value or recommending it as a credential. No real token or BiliBili cookie was inspected. Empty Path and empty string are preserved as distinct reported defaults.

Optional media file server

The startup gate is forceEnableServer OR (not clientSide AND enableServer). Both switches default to false, so the optional media file server starts disabled. Its default port 25572 is separate from the Minecraft game-server port. The default upload host is http://localhost:25572/; this does not configure a public game server or establish remote reachability.

NetworkAPI installs MIME support and can upload by HTTP POST with WaterMedia-specific token and filename headers. Binding, authentication, upload limits and interrupted transfers were not exercised. The configuration reference supplies no networking setup or credential provisioning instructions.

Ownership and unresolved details

These are main-library settings. The companion report identified no separate Binaries TOML configuration class; its executable overrides are Java system properties. Consumer settings such as Afterfall’s tower or radio-file limits remain with Afterfall and must not be substituted for the raw values above.

The PDF’s named companion CSV was not attached. The 33-row JSON/CSV in this wiki packet is a transcription of the two supplied PDF tables, including their limitations. It is not an independently recovered configuration dump. The full source companion files, generated config comments and exact installed build would be needed to resolve serialization, ranges, units and reload behavior.
